A philanthropic vision of supporting emerging creatives of the fashion industry has always been the backbone of CORE SPIRIT brand. Launched in February, CORE SPIRIT Flagship store doubles as a free venue with catwalk facilities for new talent to showcase their work and boasts an innovative hi-tech experience incorporating backstage, photographic and film capture facilities.
“CORE SPIRIT PRESENTS” is a new showcase to support emerging designers, with the first shows featuring talent that has recently graduated from Central St. Martins and London College of Fashion colleges of University of the Arts, London.
THE FIRST NIGHT OF “CORE SPIRIT PRESENTS” SERIES WILL TAKE PLACE ON OCTOBER 26TH AT CORE SPIRIT FLAGSHIP STORE.
London College of Fashion graduates — Jenn Lee and Sylvia McElroy will show their collections. Jenn Lee’s conceptual collection is based around structure with a rebellious attitude. Sylvia McElroy previously worked with Charles Anastase and Peter Jensen. Her work has been shown alongside the Diaghilev and Ballets Russes Retrospective at the V&A.
During the event guests will also have an opportunity to have their hair and make-up done by one of the professional AOFM team and rock the in-store catwalk themselves.

Vogue Fashion Night Out

CORE SPIRIT has teamed up with London Academy of Freelance Make-up (AOFM) to celebrate this year’s Vogue Fashion Night Out.
Vogue Fashion Night Out night will be held on Thursday the 8th of September at CORE SPIRIT Flagship store on 105 New Bond Street.
On the night the store will be buzzing with live models in the windows, mini fashion shows and teams of professional make-up artists and hair stylists, ready to give visitors quick on-site make-overs before they’re invited to try on some clothes and rock the in-store catwalk. These catwalk videos can then be shared on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other popular social media channels.
Iconic FNO T-shirts illustrated by Rob Ryan will also be available to buy on the night. He is famous for his collaborations with leading fashion houses and brands. Additionally, amazing sets by special guest DJs will be played for guests’ entertainment and drinks courtesy of Simply Whisky will be served all night.
Core Spirit brand has always been passionate about supporting emerging creatives and designers. The idea behind Rock the Catwalk project is to use flagship store to bring models and fashionistas, journalists and bloggers, young and already established professionals of the fashion industry together. New Bond street flagship store features an innovative high-tech and highly interactive experience centered around the in-store catwalk space.
The catwalk was designed to provide a platform for fashion designers, stylists, hair and make-up artists to show and share their work with the wider public. And for customers to have some fun too! The store also features well equipped backstage hair, make-up and dressing room facilities. The high-tech side of the project comes into play in when the “catwalk show” is happening. A catwalk experience can be recorded on the high definition camera installed on the shop floor. And model can also take high-resolution stills with a single click on the remote control device.
Images are then uploaded onto Core Spirit website complete with credits for models, hair, make-up, stylist and designer. All parties involved receive a link to the video what allows them to share both video and stills on-line. This can be of enormous help to young fashion creatives in showcasing their skills and building their portfolios. This process is fully automated and seamless.
